About Us

from an unbreakable bond, an unforgettable experience

Tenuta SIMA

the new face of Montecarlo

At Tenuta SIMA, we are a family-run luxury farmhouse and relais located in the charming town of Montecarlo, in the province of Lucca. We inaugurated the estate on April 21, 2024.

Here at the estate, we offer a unique blend of relaxation, comfort, and authentic Tuscan hospitality. Our relais features six elegantly furnished accommodations with modern comforts and a panoramic swimming pool overlooking the rolling hills — an idyllic retreat for those seeking peace and nature.

Guests can enjoy unforgettable experiences through our wine and olive oil tastings, discovering the true flavors of our land. Our wines and extra virgin olive oil are the result of careful cultivation and a deep respect for nature.

We also offer exclusive cooking classes, where you’ll learn to create traditional Tuscan and Italian dishes — from fresh pasta to baked delicacies and homemade sauces — all crafted with seasonal local ingredients.

Come visit us in Montecarlo and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the landscape, the authenticity of the flavors, and the unique experiences waiting for you at Tenuta SIMA.

Tenuta SIMA

the origins of our name and brand

The name Tenuta SIMA was born from the union of its founders, Silvia and Massimo. This name symbolizes unity, strength, and an unbreakable bond — the essence of who we are.

Our logo was inspired by Dalton’s periodic table and reinterpreted through the symbolic lens of molecular bonds — those found in wine, or in pure water, one of nature’s most stable elements. This concept was paired with a custom-designed lettering that reflects the refined aesthetic of the world’s most elegant and prestigious brands.

We take great pride in our brand identity, created by Studio Rindi ADV, not only because it represents us perfectly, but also because the entire branding and corporate image project was selected by AIAP in 2024 as one of Italy’s most significant communication design projects.
